How to tell if a gas station has an on-sale meter
Posted September 07, 2018 07:18:17 Gas stations have been known to have a few issues, but this particular one is quite simple to spot.
The gas meter is usually on the right side of the screen, but if you’re not sure, look for the “off” button next to the “meter.”
This button is usually labeled as “gas” or “dry” and is marked in the upper right corner of the meter.
If you can’t tell from the bar graph, the gas station is probably running on gas.
The problem with this type of meter is that it’s often not visible to the consumer, as they’re not aware of what they’re looking at.
To fix this, many gas stations have installed cameras to alert the consumer if the meter is showing up.
In most cases, this means that the consumer will see a bar graph on the gas meter and they will know to turn the gas on.
